Hurrah, we can finally tell you all about this! We have spent the last few months working with the rest of the Postcards to pull together the lineup for this year’s festival, and we are delighted with it. We are also super excited to be putting on a show at The Deaf Institute, which is the best venue in the North West by a long way. This is going to be ACE, and we’d suggest that if you can do, buy your tickets in advance as there is a chance this is going to sell really well!
POSTCARDS FROM MANCHESTER FESTIVAL 2010
Saturday September 18th, The Deaf Institute, Manchester
Manchester can be a daunting place when it comes to music. A city that attracts thousands of new students each year because of a rich musical history has a lot to live up to. It can’t afford to disappoint.
The exciting present needs to be represented, and not with A&R men in suits telling you what’s in or out, and certainly not with cheap reminiscing.
Postcards from Manchester is a collective of likeminded music lovers from Pull Yourself Together, Underachievers Please Try Harder, You! Me! Dancing! and Young Adult Friction.
Postcards From Manchester 2010 aims to show what Manchester is all about- innovation, originality, and most importantly, fun. And this year it takes place on Saturday September 18th in the best live music venue in the North, The Deaf Institute. Tickets available from www.ticketline.co.uk
