I’m sure you are starting to get just as excited about the Darren Hayman show at Godlee Observatory next week as we all are. Here are a few bits of important information which you’ll need to know about the gig.
- Access to the venue is really restricted. Due to Health and Safety issues we need to take everyone up to the Observatory together, and thus need to meet all ticket holders prior to the gig. We need you to meet at the Granby Road entrance to the Sackville Street Building, which is by the big rope sculpture (near the Vimto bottle) – http://tinyurl.com/28c7f3f To ensure that you gain access to the show you will need to be at the entrance by 6:45 / 8.45. Anyone who is not at this meeting point by the time we head up to the Observatory will not gain admittance to the shows. This is REALLY IMPORTANT. The Observatory is a unique venue, which is why we have to go through all this effort to make sure everyone can get in.
- Please can you make sure you have fairly sensible shoes on. We have heard stories of people in high heels getting stuck in the spiral stairs up to the telescopes!
- There will be a bar at the gig. We’ll have beer, wine and fruit juice on offer.
- Alongside Darren’s merch, we will also be selling some beautiful screen prints of the gig poster, as designed and printed by Sean Mort. These are going to be a really limited edition, and will be available at the amazing price of just £10. We really do encourage you to bring a bit of extra cash to pick on up, as these posters are one of a kind.
We look forward to seeing you on Tuesday!
Cheers,
PYT & Hey! Manchester
